An Artist's Journey
if there is a message I can give about life, it would be
- never, ever give up. If a dream dies, find a way to wake it up. And embrace the disability. We all have something we are dealing with. -
My first watercolours strokes was far from perfect. A flowing wild and out of control media that challenged me in every way. but I was captured in the delicate transparent interplay of colours and textures. and my desire to master watercolours made me accept that mistakes are inevitable and mastering watercolours is an eternal learning.
Finding my unique style and artistic identity takes time and I still make a lot of experimentation, with combining watercolours with other medias and there are still lots of moments of self-doubt and uncertainty, on my journey to be recognised as an artist. But being an artist for me is about more than just success and recognition. It's about the process of creation and the constant growth and learning. It's about pushing boundaries, taking risks, and embracing the unexpected.
Creating art is not a choice but a way of life. It's about staying true to yourself and following your passion.
